She Read It

Today, my oldest started school. The first grade. She has been homeschooled up until today, so my heart was a little heavy today. She loved it and did just fine. Except, she talked the entire lunch period and only took 2 bites of her sandwich and 2 grapes. She came home starving! So, she ate her lunch that I packed her when she got home. :)

That is when I started getting tomorrow's lunch packed and ready to go.  I wrote on her lunch box a Bible verse and little note from mommy. She wanted to make sure that I did it again tomorrow because she read to her friends the Bible verse! Every morning we read from Sarah Young's 'Jesus Calling for kids' and the verse at the top of every day is the one I am writing on her lunch box. She hears it in the morning and then reads it to friends during lunch! :) I am so proud of my girl! Jesus is in the Public School; there isn't anything that could stop Him.
