Who to Vote For... Trump vs Clinton

If you are like me you step away from the debate that happened tonight and you are just sure you don't want to vote for either of those two people. How did we get here, America?! Just a few minutes into the debate, a friend PMed me for biblical advice on who to vote for.... and I did not have an answer.

You see, here is the problem. Both claim Christ as their Savior. Both have shown good fruit and both have shown bad fruit. Since, I don't know them personally I can only go on what is reported and made known to the general public and that is getting to where even media outlets cannot be trusted.

To be honest, I would say neither are worthy of your vote... but then I would be slammed for telling you "not to vote" but honestly, there is a better option out there we just didn't put them up there. But here is the Truth. It doesn't matter who wins. For whatever good they do, they won't be able to do half of the good Christ does. And whatever bad they do, Christ has already redeemed it.

Mr. Trump's "locker room statements" are horrific and degrading. He is talking about women made in the image of God. So, his excuses of "just locker room talk" or "boys will be boys" thinking is down right unchristian. This line of thinking simply encourages women to be raped (because it doesn't do anything to stop it, it opens the door to it).  Mr. Trump, you should say, "I was very wrong. And it will not happen again." That is what needed said. Stop justifying or making light of your sin. "If it put Jesus on the Cross then don't do it or say it". A Christian is a Christian because of faith that leads to obedience. Justifying sin is not following Christ. (There is more that could be stated but I am just doing a brief summary.)

Ms. Clinton "made a mistake" is an understatement. You made a 30,000+ mistakes. EVERY SINGLE email was a mistake and it was sadly not just once. And no, you cannot say that President Bush did the same thing because you then are just pointing the finger instead of taking full responsibility for your 30,000+ mistakes. Benghazi... and the fact that you won't stand up for human life make your reputation just as unchristian as Trump.

So, No friends... we cannot say that either one is the Christian vote. So stop trying to justify your voting for either one as the Christian vote. The only one worthy of the Christian vote is Christ Himself. And if you say, "Come Lord Jesus!" Like I have the last few months of this blasted election... I understand but I also can tell you this. HE is not coming yet. The whole world has not heard His love story yet so instead of worrying about which one of these people to vote for... GO SPREAD THE GOSPEL. That is our ONLY HOPE.
